“Artist hopes ‘Shnnoogles’ bring comfort to hospitalized kids”

The original Shnoogy story was first featured in The Arizona Republic following its installation at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Developed as a visual storyboard to support young patients through creativity and emotional expression, the project received community attention for its focus on resilience, imagination, and compassionate empowerment.

What began in a pediatric hospital setting has since grown into the Toss Your Kruddy book, music, and classroom-based social-emotional learning framework used by families and educators today.
